This is a long-term contract position starting out as a 1 year engagement with eligibility to be extended up to 3 years. *Responsibilities include: * Develop internal web based applications and public facing web sites based on requirements specifications. Contribute to application design. Contribute to time estimates. Work in a team environment where SCRUM project management methodology is utilized. Be able to work independently as well. Meet dead-line targets as directed by management. Communicate effectively with coworkers and end users in a courteous and respectful manner. *Preferred Qualifications: * - Minimum of 5+ years of IT experience and 3 years of .NET development experience. - Programming languages: VB.NET, C# - Web Technologies: ASP.NET 2.0/3.5, User Controls, Ajax, Web Services, JavaScript, HTML/XHTML, CSS. - Database and related technologies: Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008, T-SQL, ADO.NET - XML technologies: XML, XSLT, XSD, XPATH - Visual Studio 2008 an VS Team System 2008 - Proficiency in .NET Framework 3.5: - WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) - WWF (Windows Workflow Foundation) and XAML - WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) - Full SDLC competency is required. - LINQ and Entity Framework experience is a plus - Microsoft Silverlight 2.0 development experience is a plus *Application Development Environment: * Windows Workflow Foundation (WWF), Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Silverlight, AJAX, Web Services, Click Once, Smart Client, CSS, XHTML, XAML, .Net Framework 3.0 & 3.5 Organizational Environment: Willing to belong to high performance teams, eager to teach new technologies and techniques.
