Responsibilities: * Design and re-design of tables, indexes, stored procedures, with performance and scalability in mind. * Performing script reviews as part of the production approval process and will adhere to and enforce company standards, bench marks, best practices and procedures. * Interfacing with the development, data operations and infrastructure team to ensure that databases are properly configured and that necessary backups are being performed; * Design, code, test and debug custom queries using Microsoft T-SQL per defined technical specifications and manage the extraction, transformation, and population of data files and databases (MS SQL Server, Excel, and Access). Requirements: * 10 years minimum experience developing database projects using T-SQL on SQL Server 2005/2008. * Plus 2 to 3 years DBA experience in SQL Server 2005/2008. * Experience using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL and process automation a plus. * Experience with Report Services (Crystal or others) and Adobe products a plus. * BS degree in computer sciences, software design, engineering, information systems, related field or comparable experience. * Personal Characteristics include: self motivated, thorough, articulate, detail-oriented, creative, personable, and team-player.
