Here is the job description: Title: ASP.net Developer Location: MA Duration: 3 months+ *Rate: $30/hr on C2C* General Responsibilities Build set of interactive tools based on a database of curriculum standards. *Responsibilities:* · Develop a robust, scalable web-based tool set including the following deliverables: · Interactive Search Tool · Multi Format Export Tool (csv, PDF, doc) · Navigable HTML display including links to and display of to MCAS Questions/sample student work, and external resources · Rewrite and regression testing for MCAS question loading tools · Add/Edit Standards Tool · Tool and Work Flow for building new sets of standards · Promising Practices tool – relate and display student work and/or lessons to standards · Interface/Service/API for integration with existing Java applications Manage Full-Life Cycle of project from analyzing business requirements, developing and testing software through production, deployment and change control · Meet scheduled delivery dates as defined by project manager · Troubleshoot, debug and optimize code for performance · Communicate effectively with product stakeholders and project team Qualifications and Experience: · 4+ years of hands-on experience as an ASP/.net developer using associated technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, Visual Basic, ADO, COM and ODBC). · 4+ years working with Microsoft IIS on Windows server platforms. MCSE Preferred. · Solid understanding of OOP methodology using both MS SQL and Oracle Databases. Ability to write queries and perform general DBA tasks such as DTS. · Experience with web services and integration of ASP.net with Java applications desirable. · Ability to review/proof all code to ensure error-free functionality within all targeted browsers. · Good understanding of page flow, user interface design and navigation structures · Must be creative and resourceful, a self-starter and highly motivated.
