Please find the requirements currently open. *Senior Net Backup Engineer Atlanta, GA 3-4 Months 45/hr Install, configure and document Veritas Netbackup master server, media servers and 350 standard clients for Netbackup version 6.5. The master and media servers are to be hosted on Solaris 10. Clients will be Solaris 8,9,10, Windows 2000/2003, Novell NetWare, SUSE Linux and Red Hat Linux. Some Windows, NetWare and Linux clients will be hosted on VMware ESX environment. This is a replacement of an in place Netbackup system. No migration of existing backup catalogs and tapes in required. The existing system will be decommited once all clients have been migrated and backups have expired. Backup methodology to be implemented is to backup to disk storage and then offload disk storage to tape media. Tape media is stored offsite with Iron Mountain and Vault is to be used to interface with Iron Mountain. Backups are to be performed over an existing dedicated backup network. Database backups are initiated by a client script that activates the client’s backup policy when the database is ready for backups. Database backups are either Oracle RMAN exports or file system snapshots of a quiesced database. Tasks to include: Installation and configuration of a single Netbackup Master Server Installation and configuration of four Netbackup Media servers Installation and configuration of Netbackup Vault and interface to Iron Mountain offsite procedures Installation and configuration of Netbackup Shared Storage Option Installation and configuration of Netbackup Operations Manager Installation and configuration of Netbackup Reporter Installation and configuration of Sun StorageTek Automated Cartridge System Library Software (ACSLC) to manage Sun StorageTek L1400 tape library Design, develop and implement reports to monitor failed backups, trends and risk exposures. Documentation for monitoring, operational and diagnostic procedures. Migration of 350 clients. Client migrations to the new systems will be performed in conjunction with Georgia State personnel. Georgia State personnel will perform client side upgrades and configurations necessary for migration in coordination with contracted resources. The hardware platforms for the backup systems are as follows: One media server Sun V490 / Solaris 10 Four media servers Sun V490 /Solaris 10 Ten Sun StorageTek 3511 storage arrays One Sun StorEdge L1400 tape library 12 LTO IV tape drives One Sun 240R to support Automated Cartridge System Library Software ACSLC for L1400 10 Gigabit Ethernet (fiber) and 1 Gigabit Ethernet (copper) Hardware and operating system installation will configure 3511 arrays and SAN connections to present LUNS to the Master and media servers. * Please respond with *Resume, Rate, Current Location and Phone numbers *of the Consultant.
