Title: SAP ESS/MSS
8+ years of experience within the Human Capital Module (HCM) of SAP
including sub-modules
Work Site Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota
Start/End Date: 2009-03-30 to 2009-09-25
Total Duration: 6 months+ (179 Days / 25.6 weeks)

*Description:** *Business Process: Business process improvement
identification with recommended system improvement areas to support Human
Resource initiatives.

*SAP Module Name:* SAP Employee Self-Service and Manager Self-Service

*Requirement Description:* Resource should have a minimum of 8+ years of
experience within the Human Capital Module (HCM) of SAP including
sub-modules.
Resource should have experience as project management/team lead/functional
consultant for ESS/MSS projects.
A minimum experience of 8+ years with SAP HCM - Employee Self-Service and
Manager Self-Service module is required.
Consultant should have experience with CATS, payroll, benefits, personnel
development, PA Configuration, ability to set-up workflows and time
management along with SAP Reports.
Resource should have at least 1-2 years of experience with Adobe Interactive
Forms functionality.
Additional experience with ABAP Development and Java Development would be
beneficial

*Specific Remarks:*
The SAP Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Human Capital Management (ESS/MSS
)will work with IT and business teams from each location, other SMEs and
process subject matter experts to drive business process standardization for
the employee and manager administrative actions specifically related to the
following tasks: .
Submit/cancel absences, including sick time, vacations, etc. .
Record working time, replacing paper timecards (this group includes all
non-exempt office personnel and service reps in the US only). .
View time statements for hours worked, accruals, quota balances, etc. .
View data on compensation . View data on benefits participation .
Enroll in benefits plans . Enter and change address and phone number
information .
Enter and change bank details for payroll purposes (direct deposit) .
Enter personal and family data such as adding partners and dependents for
health insurance, as well as emergency contact information and name changes

In addition, the SAP Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Human Capital Management
will work with IT and business teams from each location and other SME's and
process subject matter experts to drive business process standardization for
Manager Self-Service Actions:
. View a better picture of employee data, such as addresses, working time,
job and position, compensation, vacation and other time off, and performance
appraisal data.
. Approve working time, including hours worked, vacation, leave of absence,
etc.
. Process change requests around new hires, promotions, merit increases,
etc. In terms of workflow, the SAP HCM Processes and Forms would replace
inter-office mailing, faxing, and emailing of employee changes.
. Create and view reports on employee data including revenue per employee,
and bonus costs.
This component of the project, Manager Self-Service will utilize the
functionality and integration of the Adobe Interactive Forms for the
creation and implementation of the Employee Change Notification process
This individual will need to understand capabilities of SAP and map Tennant
processes. T
he SAP Human Capital Management SME will balance the needs of individual
locations with the realities of global standardization and ensure
requirements could be incorporated into global processes.
This individual will work with Core IT/business process teams to ensure
conformance to blueprint, provide process knowledge to the teams identify
master data impacts and ensure data is standardized to support business
processes.
Ensure integrity of data across business process and throughout the system,
identify and provide resolutions of integration issues to ensure the
solution meets integration requirements.
The SAP Human Capital Management SME - ESS/MSS will also be responsible for
SAP ESS/MSS Configuration, define detailed process requirements, SAP
functional requirements and knowledge transfer to IT resources.
This individual will identify potential works around to system changes or
limitations and identify level of effort required to successfully implement
changes to business processes and user activities.
Create as-is and to-be process flows, document and configure SAP modules to
meet business requirements and serve as a user-level advocate to ensure
process flow and system designs reflect realities of front-line work.
Validate process and system integration from a user perspective, develop
procedures and methods for unit and integration testing and prepare unit and
validation test scripts for all business process areas in scope, and perform
unit and validation testing.
