Please send the resumes only on *[email protected]* *PeopleSoft Grants Management (Functional)* Atlanta, GA *3+ Months Contract* Project Scope Implementation of PeopleSoft Grants Management version 8.9, People Tools version 8.48 and other full project lifecycle services and documentation related to, change management, process definition, coordination and documentation testing, organize and deliver user training, report specifications and query development. *1. Grants Management* *2. Project Costing* *3. Contract Accounting 4. Pre and Post Award 5. Security Model and Security Implementation* ** Deliverables and Duties: 1. Develop Test Scripts and support System Testing cycles 2. Support system training for Research Administration staff, to include preparing training database and assisting with training materials 3. Develop functional designs for customizations including reports and online modifications 4. Develop report specifications and queries as needed 5. Support cutover and go-live activities 6. Knowledge transfer to client's employees 7. Weekly status reports with updates to client's project management implementation and documentation Assist *with data modeling assignments and provide database related assistance to application developers as needed such as SQL tuning.* Assist in the analysis of changes to hardware, network, database objects, patches, application, etc. *Develop and deploy SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions in support of application database needs*. Assist in the preparation, creation and review of test plans and data. Serve as point of contact and responsibility for database and other application vendors when problem escalation is warranted. Perform pro-active database performance monitoring and tuning. Interact closely and professionally with other team members on various projects or tasks. Be willing to learn and be willing to mentor others. Bachelors of Science degree in computer science, management information systems, or engineering RESPONSIBILITIES Translate business requirements into an effective and efficient data model/architecture. Conduct meetings with business partners and technical staff. Express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing. *Create SSIS packages to migrate existing data into new data structures. *Perform database development activities such as coding stored procedures, triggers, and operating system scripts. Perform database administration activities such as performance monitoring, performance tuning, capacity planning and query optimization. Assist in the configuration of database server hardware to optimize performance. Perform troubleshooting multiple data extraction, transform, and load processes. Perform ad hoc reporting.
