Senior Software Engineer (Scientific) Requirements : . Hands-on exp in scientific environment is a MUST . 5+ years exp. developing and supporting Java software . 5+ years exp. designing and implementing high-performance data structures and algorithms, especially matrix- and graph-based computations . 2+ years developing data-driven scientific user interfaces based on tree, matrix or graph data structures (e.g. heatmaps, statistical charts, pathway visualizations, etc.) . Experience in XML parsers, Python or Perl . Experience in Agile development, knowledge of SVN, continuous integration, etc. . Solid understanding of web application architectures .
