The project the client is focused on re-architecture of existing VB6 based Server applications for their logistical operating system. This project is 100% server side programming, with no UI *Software Architect/ Tech Lead who can do both design and implementation and have the following skills *· Minimum 10 years of experience in software development. · 2+ years in Architect or Tech Lead role · Must have a track record of designing and developing high quality, high volume distributed and scalable business applications. · Thorough understanding of OOA/OOD, SOA. · Specialized in design and development of middle-tier component of architecture. · Expert in C# and .Net · Expert in multi-threading development. · Good knowledge of ADO.Net and Networking (TCP, IPC, etc) · Good knowledge Web Services and XML technologies including schemas, SOAP, XSLT, etc. · Experience with MS Enterprise libraries and Service Software Factory is a big plus. · Knowledge of Visual Basic is a plus. · Good knowledge of RDBMS databases (preferably Oracle), Data modeling, strong in SQL. · Knowledge of .Net 3.0: WCF and WF is a plus · Must have excellent writing skills and be able to communicate technical designs in writing and drawings. · Be a strong team player. · Experience in providing support to production and diagnosing production issues is a plus.
