*Client is looking for Project manager * *St Louis**, MO*** *4- 6 months * * * * Need Local only * * * *Project Manager* * * * * *Project Summary and Position Overview* Reuters Data Feed Direct (RDF-D) is a direct to consumer data feed product which interprets a real-time data feed and presents the information in a normalized fashion to consuming applications. Reports to Global Head of Project and Service Management Manages individual or portfolio(s) of software and hardware projects supporting RDF-D *Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:* Effectively manages project teams (including virtual teams) globally. Engages and builds strong relationships with various stakeholders (product, operations, development, quality assurance, business analysis) to manage the process by which projects are initiated and executed throughout the project/product lifecycle. Supports and manages transitions including migrations to obsolescence, new systems, new products, and integration initiatives. Provides support and coaching for Project Managers engaged on projects supporting Real Time data infrastructures. Defines, documents and executes large-scale projects. Successful candidate must have a history of actively participating in all phases of the project. Identifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of the project. Gain commitments to ensure corrective actions are taken if costs, timescales or resources deviate from agreed tolerances. Manages the change control procedure gaining agreement for revisions to the project from project stakeholders and ensure full impact of significant changes are understood by project stakeholders. Ensures all parties are aware of project scope and milestones. Highlights divergence from that scope, and adjusts it where necessary to reflect changing circumstances. Responsible for establishing project and program best practices. Must ensure project level reporting meets needs of customers and stakeholders.
