Development builds verification testing of PowerVault MD3000 storage networks to ensure functionality and compatibility; on Linux (Redhat Enterprise RHEL4 and RHEL5 and Suse SLES9 and SLES10) and Windows server 2003. Test response of system to introduction of faults. Experience Debugging and Testing Embedded Firmware required. *Specific job skills requested:* 1, familiar with Linux install and scripting 2, familiar with openLDAP configuration 3, basic understanding of network and security Understanding of industry specifications, embedded systems development, Intel and AMD architectures, and the software development lifecycle. Solid understanding of one or more of the following industry specifications: I2C, IPMI, KCS, USB, SNMP, SM-CLP, WS-MAN, TCPIP. Solid understanding and demonstrated experience of the software development and test process. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Solid C development skills including the use of debug tools. Experience with embedded operating systems (RTOS, embedded Linux).
