*Short Description*

The Program Manager directs, controls, administers, and regulates the
developement of the PHRC Case Management System.



*Complete Description:*

The Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission (PHRC) and the Office of
Administration, Office for Information Technology, Bureau of Application
Development and Support (BADS) are looking to secure a Project Manager IV
(PM) to manage a joint development and implementation initiative.
Together, the PHRC and BADS are looking to develop a Case Management System
replacement using Microsoft Dynamics CRM.  The first part of the project
will require the Project Manager to gain an understanding of the core
business functions of the PHRC, including the review of the current CMS
application, corresponding documentation, as well as, requirements and use
cases developed more recently.  The next steps should align with
commonwealth and industry project management tasks related to the planning,
initiation, execution, monitoring and closing of the development initiative.



*In addition to those items identified through the staff augmentation
contract for this position, the Project Manager will be required to:*

•           Develop a work plan using Microsoft Project.   Work plan
requirements will be discussed but, at a minimum, will consist of standard
elements including a detailed task

definition,start and end timeframes, dependences and resource allocations.

•           Develop and maintain standard project management documentation
as defined by the project team.

•           Facilitate meetings and maintain “minutes” on a recurring basis
to keep all stakeholders informed.  Meeting schedule to be determined by
the project team.

•           Monitor and track project expenditures.

•           Create and maintain status communications for Commission
members and Regional Directors.
