Smart Intranet is a web based system to Inquire about customer s account activity which is used by Wells Fargo team members to service customers. The environment is a distributed J2EE Application which integrates with enterprise-wide systems via middleware messaging systems and uses Oracle database. The application has ongoing robust growth and is rolled out to large number of team members and has exciting roadmap for the right person. The candidates should have a strong focus on Application Design using design patterns, Web Development, RIA and Web Services with a focus on high quality customer experience. *Responsibilities include: * -Technical analysis, design, construction and deployment of highly complex intranet application projects. -Acts as the highest-level technical expert on the development and implementation of intranet applications on diverse platforms, crossing multiple business lines. -Understand the Business problem space, analyze current process and provide innovative ideas to improve the process. -Collaborate with Business analyst during requirement gathering and converts requirements to technical designs. -Demonstrated ability to influence management on technical or business solutions. -Demonstrated ability to apply core Java design patterns, application of technical principles, practices, and procedures to multiple applications. -Technically sound in SQL with ability to analyze and generate Adhoc query/reports on large volume of transaction data on Oracle database. -Provides application design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of J2EE technologies, tools and designs. -Analyzes highly complex business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign complex computer platforms and applications. -Designs and develops highly complex original code. -Conducts design and code reviews to ensure adhere to design, oversees preparation of test data, testing and debugging of applications. -Oversees overall Systems Integration Testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production. -Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees project and release rollout to production. -Provides leadership in researching and tracking new web technologies, developing service applications, and analyzing business requirements as they pertain to web-based systems. -Evaluates systems specifications, participates in continuous tuning of the platform for optimal performance and scalability, determines and implements the most efficient and cost-effective software/package solution. *Minimum Qualifications:* -7+ years Senior Java Development experience. -7+ year’s experience with Application Patterns, Web and J2EE centric design patterns. -7+ years Design skills and knowledge of tools. -5+ Experience integrating with Web Services, mainly in Java. -5+ years J2EE, JSP, Servlets, JSTL, etc. -Strong experience using CSS, HTML, DHTML , AJAX and JavaScript. -Solid working knowledge of Apache Tomcat. *Preferred Qualifications: * Knowledge of MVC frameworks specifically Spring.
