Basic Qualifications: BS in Computer Science or equivalent desired At least 3 years’ experience security testing web based applications Strong experience and detailed technical knowledge in security engineering, system and network security, authentication and security protocols, cryptography, and application security Knowledge of network and web related protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS, routing protocols) Use of various security scanning/fuzzing tools Development and presentation of *security testing* results *Feedback From Hiring Manager:* I received a note from the hiring manager stating that in general, the candidates are not what he is looking for. He believes that they all appear to have very limited (if any) actual hands on security penetration testing with specific tools. He sees references to doing some security test planning (high level) or oversight of a team, but no practical hands on experience themselves.
