*Location:* Charlotte, NC; Los Angeles, CA; San Francisco, CA; Minneapolis,

*Skills:*

*NOTE:* Someone with background in big data, digital data and analytics –
something along the lines of the role below.

*ROLE:* The individual in this position will assist in leading a
multi-channel marketing Proof of Concept to test the use of operational
analytics within a big data environment.

• As technical lead, coordinate cross-functional resources (technical,
analytic, data, vendor) to meet POC goals, with the help of a project
management resource and team leaders

• Solve for the integration of internal and external digital data streams

• Research, design and execute a data management strategy leveraging
appropriate internal and external data sources

• Identify, compile and deliver appropriate measurements of POC performance

• In the event of a successful effort, develop and socialize a go-forward
operational architecture and integration plans with input from subject
matter experts



*SKILL REQUIREMENTS:*

• Expert performing and managing ETL in Teradata Aster and Hadoop

o Advanced SQL skills using Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server and Aster Data.

o Proficiency with complex database schemas and ability to work across
different database schemas and technologies

o Hands-on experience managing complex ETL processes;  prior experience
with using SAS for ETL is preferred but not required

o Demonstrated functional competency in Java, UNIX shell scripting, or
other languages that would be helpful in a Hadoop environment

o Familiarity with RHEL 6.6 and HDP 2.2.6 (or later) preferred

• Strong background and hands-on experience in third party digital data
management: ad server data integration, site tagging, design of site
analytics reporting (experience with DoubleClick helpful but not required).

• Familiarity with SAS and/or R as an analytic tool. In general, this role
requires a solid understanding of how advanced statistical models are
developed and used in marketing, although the successful candidate does not
need to have built statistical models in the past

• Vendor/contract management experience

• Ability to communicate technical requirements to non-technical audiences
and write for business managers
