If you have any consultant matching with the below profile please let me know asap .Thank you, and have a great day. *Software Tester* *1 Year* *New Carrolton, MD* *Phone & In Person* *GC/USC ONLY* *Description:* • The Software Tester will review and interpret requirements from project artifacts (Word or Excel documents) and create test cases to demonstrate whether the business logic will work. • The candidate must demonstrate excellent verbal and written skills to be able to interact with the client for clarification of any ambiguities in the requirements. • The candidate will be required to engage in peer reviews with the client on the test cases to ensure quality and consistency of the test case to appropriately test the business logic. • The candidate must read, understand and decompose requirements from Release, project or system artifacts such as: BSRs, Business Rules, IRMs, Publications, UWRs, FSPs, DSRs, ICDs or PRPs in the form of Word or Excel documents, develop testing plans, design test cases, develop test data, executing the test cases, report defects, conduct defect analysis and provide error correction verification. • Candidate must be able to develop update a Requirements Traceability Verification Matrix as needed. Candidate must be able to report status of test case execution & status of defects on a daily basis. • Tester must be able to support the preparation of a test plan, support Test Readiness Reviews with the customer and support the preparation of a test completion report, as needed. • Our Software Tester must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 3-6 years of testing experience creating cases from requirements and client input. • Four years of additional related experience may substitute for degree requirement. • The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and client facing experience. *Required background includes – * • Experience reviewing, interpreting and understanding requirements and developing test cases from those requirements with input from the client. • Experience identifying, reporting, tracking and retesting (not only do you check that the defects are fixed you perform regression testing have to test everything else again to make sure the set of test cases are executed and not producing defects) defects discovered during testing. • Must be proficient in using Microsoft Word and Excel to create reports and test case scenarios. · The following experience is a plus: • Experience using Rational Quality Manager (RQM), Rational Functional Tester (RFT), and Soap UI tools. • Experience with system testing in the IRS environment using IRM 2.17 IT Software Testing Process and Procedures. • Experience utilizing test management tools to support test tracking, monitoring, and reporting, and plan, develop and execute tests employing automation. *Our Software Tester must have an active IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance.
