Location: *Culver City, CA* Duration: *6 months, extensions or permanent conversion possible* Interview Process: *Initial phone interview followed by video conference* **Please note relocation assistance is not provided by TFG or client* Agile Development Experience, P&C Insurance Experience 1. Designing, developing, modifying, testing, debugging, and maintaining GOSU language application code within Guidewire PolicyCenter. 2. Configures screen layouts, including creation of new screens (PCFs). 3. Writing business rules and other business logic. 4. Configuring operational and administration related parameters such as roles and permissions, user attributes regions, activity patterns etc. 5. Working within a development team using Agile methodology. 6. Handling the responsibility of organizing code merges and environment management tasks. 7. Understand the interface requirements and configuration architecture. 8. Create Design Document for the integration. 9. Configure the application points as per specification using Guidewire or J2EE components 10. Perform code review, and unit/integration test and deliver. 11. Co-ordinate with Onsite/Offshore Team for Configuration/Plugin Changes 12. Co-ordinate with Onsite/Offshore Team for Unit/Integration Testing 13. Identify and update Risk/Status to Internal/External Management 1. Experience in PolicyCenter Configuration/Product Model/Data Models, Activity Assignments, Forms Inference 2. Guidewire Configuration Certification Preferred, but not required. 3. 8-10 years of java/GOSU development experience. 4. At least 2 Guidewire PolicyCenter implementations experience participating in large Business Integration efforts and being a member of a project team through all phases of the project lifecycle from scoping and planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and go live. 5. Worked on minimum Guidewire version is 8.x and above. 6. Performing minor and major Guidewire software upgrades. 7. Knowledge of J2EE, Application Servers, XML/XSD/Web Services/SQL/RDBMS. 8. Knowledge of Dev Ops tools such as Jenkins, Maven is a must. 9.
