Desktop Technical Analyst
Work location: Chesterbrook, PA
Possible 3 month contract to hire for perfect candidate -
4 Months (with possible extension)
Rate:- $20/Hr (all inclusive)*

Details:

10% Special Projects as assigned.


20% Installs, upgrades and configures desktop computers, desktop
applications, network connectivity, remote connectivity, and desktop phones.



60% Provides users with network and desktop technical support. This includes
directing them to the appropriate resolve group if necessary. Responds to
the needs and questions of users concerning their access of resources on the
network.


10% Must be responsible for maintaining updates to tickets that are assigned
through the call tracking system used.

*** Specialized/Practical Knowledge:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each
primary responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are
representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. This
position is managed remotely. Qualified individual must be self-motivated
and demonstrate ability to manage daily workload and priorities effectively.

1. Individual must have seasoned Knowledge of All Operating systems through
XP.

2. Strong foundation in troubleshooting methodologies. Strong computer,
networking, and troubleshooting skills (hardware, software & peripherals)

3. Advanced knowledge of desktop and network printing

4. Senior knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.

Individual must be able to Travel 10 -20 % of the time. This travel could be
as a team or as an individual based upon size of workload.


*** Interaction:

This individual must have above average interpersonal skills working in a
team environment working closely with Co-workers, Customers, and Management.
There will be vendor contact as well. Customer Service level is high and you
will be required to interact on a regular basis. The individual will
maintain an effective communication and collaboration process at all times,
both locally and globally

*** Complexity/Problem Solving:

Individual must possess the ability to solve practical problems and deal
with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited
standardization exists. Problems may range from intermediate to complex.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral,
diagram, or schedule form
