The Job Description is as follows: Job Title : SOA system Analyst Duration : 6Months Location : Colorado Springs SKILLS : Works with our internal DISH Network business clients as well as IT teams (Development, Test, Project Mgmt, Business Liaisons, etc.) with the primary responsibility of defining and documenting detailed requirements for IT projects (Software Requirements Documents) as well as Use Cases. This Analyst structures ambiguous business problems in order to define requirements; Working with multiple applications on enterprise-wide projects Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies; Builds and manages relationships with clients and IT teams Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree with IT emphasis preferred Masters a plus Minimum of 2 - 3 years of IT experience writing software requirements (either business, functional or system requirements) and/ or software code (preferrably web logic/ web methods). Additional Details: Excellent business communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills Familiar with relational database concepts Proven Initiative Familiarity with SOA (Services Oriented Architecture) concepts, practices, procedures, models, and theories; Familiarity with eTOM concepts Proven ownership of own piece of process;Familiar with multiple phases of the SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle Process) Proven ability to build and manage relationships with clients; knowledge of ProVision a plus proven background in writing software requirements.
