They are looking for a PC SAS developer that also has knowledge of mainframe SAS. The candidate would be on site with the customer, and this customer has access to every SAS tool there is. This customer is very knowledgeable, so we need candidates that can provide recommendations for improvements. The candidate will mainly be responsible for analyzing disability data and running existing SSA statistical models.
Skills Requirements: The candidate must have the following skills: * *Knowledge of PC SAS at the intermediate or advanced level (intermediate - knows how to run statistical procedures in SAS, such as proc freq, proc logistic, proc reg, proc univariate) (advanced - ability to write and read the SAS Macro Language as well as run statistical procedures). Experience working with large data files (10 million or more records). Knowledge of working with Medicare and/or Medicade data files would be a plus. Knowledge of SAS Enterprise Guide would be a plus. Knowledge of mainframe SAS (reading and writing files) would be a plus. Knowledge of IBM mainframe JCL would also be a plus.
