POSITION: Business Intelligence Manager LOCATION: Irving, TX Duration: 6-12 months DESCRIPTION: Our client in Irving has an immediate need for a Business Systems Analyst Essbase DBA. This position reports to the Manager of Business Intelligence (BI), with primary responsibility for the effective support of Oracle/Hyperion Essbase and Planning applications. Responsibilities also include evaluating business requirements, recommending and delivering solutions that meet business needs and are in alignment with the company’s BI strategy. Will maintain, monitor, support and enhance the Essbase environment of multiple financial reporting and budgeting applications. Create and maintain Hyperion Planning applications, including data forms, associated business rules, and security. Analyze end-user BI requirements, model data, develop reports and queries, deliver BI solutions to meet business requirements. Proactively identify opportunities to improve business processes and the use of business intelligence tools and technologies. Stay current on relevant technologies, business intelligence updates and developments. Develop and maintain systems and end-user documentation. Maintain regular contact with end users across North America to ensure business requirements are being effectively addressed.
