Role: Remedy Admin/Developer

Duration: Long Term

Rate: $45 - 50/hr

Location: NY

 

The primary responsibilities of this role include maintaining the Remedy
application production and development environments and developing new
functionality primarily through integration and configuration.  This role is
closely connected to the monitoring team with regard to CMDB data,
specifically regarding events displayed via web services, support group
notifications, and inventory. An understanding of how to streamline the
Remedy interface is desirable. A qualified candidate must be self-motivated,
work well independently, manage projects from inception to final deployment,
and implement effective solutions.  He or she must have excellent
interpersonal and communication skills to work with and support the various
end users. 

 

The ideal candidate for the job has significant experience upgrading Remedy,
as well as promoting ITIL in a firm similar or greater than the client's in
size. The ability to conduct a needs analysis and produce a viable solution
would be extraordinarily beneficial. 

 

Required Skills

.         Remedy ARS 7.1 (7.5 preferred)

.         ITSM 7.0 (7.6 preferred), including incident, change, asset and
problem

.         Atrium CMDB 2.1 (7.7 preferred), including class management,
federation management, and reconciliation management

.         Atrium Integration Engine

.         Web Services

.         Integrations with multiple systems (knowledge of PERL and XML
preferred)

.         E-mail engine - Creating and updating tickets via incoming emails,
creating HTML email templates for outgoing Remedy emails

.         Reporting with Business Objects & BMC Analytics (knowledge of SQL
preferred)
