Title: Java Developer
Duration: 6+ Months with possible extensions
Location: Weehawken NJ
Rate: $50 /hr
Java web application developer for the Assets Held Away Team. Candidate
will:
1) be responsible for analysis, design, development, testing and support of
Assets Held Awayapplication.
2) work closely with other members of the development team to ensure that
deliverables are met within tight timeframes.
3) provide ongoing support for application stability and performance.
4) analyze and resolve any production and/or performance related issues.
Participate in occasional evening support of releases and early morning
coverage for production support.
5) have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
6) be required to develop Business Specs and design documents as required.
J2EE, Java, JSP, Struts 2.0, Spring, DB2 and RDBMS Unix and Shell scripting.
- At least 5 years of Experience of developing enterprise web applications
in java.
- At least 2 years of experience with RAD 7, Websphere 6.1
- Expertise with Struts and Spring Framework is important.
- RDBMS development experience preferably with DB2.
- Expeience with using IBM DB2 Stored procedure builder, ChangeMan, PVCS.
- Expeience with TIBCO iProcess and Business works is helpful.
- Experience in financial industry is a plus and experience with reporting
tools is a plus.
- Exposure to Agile development methodology is a big plus.
