Duration: 9-12 Months Location: Santa Clara CA Rate: DOE Job Description: Specific Responsibilities: Working within a team environment, you will help implement software systems, software applications and tools for a new classified program as well as enhancements and modifications to existing software. This involves supporting the software architect/lead in implementing technical solutions to complex problems while adhering to prescribed CMMI software processes. You'll be involved in the full software life cycle including the application of standard methodologies such as Object Oriented Analysis and Design. You must be experienced with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) design. Development using HTML, Java applications, Java applets, JDBC and Java Middleware programs required. Experience Level: Unspecified Requirements: Basic Qualifications: The applicant must be able to work independently, as well as in a small group. Applicants should be experience in all phases of the development process. Work is to be performed in the customer lab and office spaces in the customer site. The current team consists of a heterogeneous mix of contractors as well as government personnel. The selected applicant will be responsible for developing Java applications to support the existing program. The position requires an understanding of general signal processing techniques. The position requires the candidate to perform other ancillary development activities to include some software maintenance, documentation, testing (both unit and integration), training and system deployments. Basic Qualifications: A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related discipline. 8+ years Experience with Software Development on Windows and Unix platforms. Language experience in Java, C, and C++ and Web service application development.
