REQ:Factory Test Engineer ---------------------------- Duration:6 months contract to hire Location:San Diego, California JOB REQUIREMENTS Main Duties Job Duties: . Develop algorithms utilizing statistical methods to optimize RF calibration and test processes . Interact closely with design teams and apply the product knowledge to enhance test efficiency and efficacy . Work with operations team to introduce the new test mechanisms in the factory . Automate testing process . Establish process for collection, format, analysis, and communication of raw factory data for identification of potential issues and optimization of yields and throughput . Assist in test data analysis and identification of design deficiencies . Interact with engineers at design facilities to understand and implement changes . Work with vendors to identify appropriate test equipment for test optimization Education: BSEE with a minimum 3 years of relevant experience required or MSEE. Qualifications: . Course work in RF design and CDMA based technologies . Experience in high volume wireless device design cycle . Experience in test equipment use such as Agilent 8960, network analyzer, logic analyzer, etc. . Understanding of Zero-IF design issues . Experience with LabWindows, CVI, or C programming .
