Preference will be given to Candidates with a wide variety of experience in developing e-learning materials for higher education, government, nonprofit or large private sector client sites *. *Experience with the University’s web hosting environment is preferred** *Required Skills:-* · Doctorate in instructional systems design (ISD), instructional technology, education, or related field. · Must have substantial curriculum design experience. · Minimum 7 years as an instructional designer. · Excellent English writing/editing, research, and critical thinking skills. · Experience writing analysis /design documents and storyboarding. · Must be able to commit to at least 20hrs/wk. · Must be able to attend meetings on site and work from site as required by the project. · Previous experience designing educational materials for US Department of Defense agencies. · Previous experience developing stands alone Learning Objects (LOs) which are section 508 and SCORM compliant. · Previous experience developing content outlines and storyboards for courses dealing with cognitive domain and higher order learning. · Previous experience collaborating with client instructional designers, Subject Matter Experts, and external design professionals on course content, interactions, and knowledge inventories. · Previous experience with and thorough understanding of course design and learning object development processes. · Expert knowledge of the instructional design process. · First hand collaborative work experience with Robert Gagné, and thorough understanding of his Nine Events of Instruction. · Extensive experience developing storyboards, content outlines, content inventory documents, project timelines, and full training solution design documents. · Thorough understanding of performance improvement training and education development practices. · Extensive experience teaching in live classroom and virtual learning environments. · Previous experience teaching online statistics.
