Title: Batch Monitoring - PeopleSoft Start Date: 11/01/2010 Position Type: Contract Locations: New York, NY Additional Details: The Consultant(s) will be assigned a specific shift: the night shift (2nd or 3rd shift) or the weekend shift. Description: The Consultant(s) will be assigned a specific shift: the night shift (2nd or 3rd shift) or the weekend shift. Statement of the Scope of Work The services of three (3) Batch Monitoring / Scheduling, PeopleSoft batch processes experienced Consultants are required to do the following: · Monitor scheduled batch jobs and batch cycles run for PeopleSoft Financials, Human Resources, ELM, EPM, and Payroll. This includes interfaces and file transfers and cron jobs, etc. Initiate ad-hoc jobs in PeopleSoft and also in BMC Control-M · Prepare job schedules in BMC Control-M or in PeopleSoft Process Schedulers, if needed · Research, investigate, and perform restart / recovery processes on failed jobs. Contact the appropriate Support Team when needed · Prepare report and transition the results of the batch cycles to the Director and next shift · Respond to critical HelpDesk calls using the CCA (IVR) · Coordinate with Support Staff and execute the solution / fix provided · Resolve / Close tickets in Siebel (Service Request Module) · Possibility of working on special tasks assigned by the Director of Client Support Statement of Consultant Qualifications The consultant is required to have 1 to 2 years experience with supporting batch functions General knowledge of the PeopleSoft applications (FIN, HR, Payroll, etc) Batch Scheduler Software (BMC Control-M preferred) Knowledge of PeopleSoft batch processes Knowledge of PeopleTools 8.49 preferred -- Best Regards, Manohar AjaxInfotech Email:[email protected] Contact:314-266-3632 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Developers" group.
