Development environment is mainly web Methods. · Work on large development project to upgrade legacy applications to service based architecture. · Provide technical leadership - assess requirements, create design artifacts, develop modules, conduct technical design reviews and code reviews, identify and resolve key technical issues within the product/project. · Work with Solutions Architect and various teams to understand business objectives, and drive implementation of technical solutions. · Build new best practices and new standards and ensure compliance technically and from a process standpoint before implementing. · Participate in the analysis of emerging technologies as necessary to ensure that Staples solutions stay current with the existing technology. · Develop in-depth knowledge of Supply Chain business processes and system environment. · Mentor junior developers in software engineering techniques. · Work with PMO, development, QM and infrastructure teams in creation and execution of plans, and assist in end-to-end implementation integration, testing and support as needed. · Work with business partners to integrate applications with 3rd party solutions. · Support internal and external customers by providing technical consultation. · Adapt quickly to change and positively take on new responsibilities - be viewed as a technical lead by others. *Required Skills:-*** · Transfer Agent and Sub Accounting Financial Systems experience preferred. · 5+ years experience in creation of use case models. · Must have excellent writing and communication skills with specific expertise in creating business requirements, functional specifications, functional use cases, and use case scenarios and data flow diagrams. · Ability to create detailed business process models. · Ability to create detailed wireframe/screen mocks. · Must possess 5 + years experience (analysis and design) in the creation and extension of functionality for web based transaction processing systems. · Must have excellent organizational skills. · The ability to work independently and adhere to tight deadlines. · Expert in Microsoft Word, Excel and Visio. · Must have experience writing and executing test plans and test scripts. · Must be able to work closely with technical design and development team. Must be able to coordinate systems development efforts during these phases. · Excellent interpersonal skills. · The candidate should be able to work with minimal supervision and adhere to tight deadlines in an agile environment. · Must be self-reliant, self-starting. · Must be organized, meticulous about coding and visual/interface design standards. · Must have good communications skills and be able to relate business needs to technical staff. · Must have strong organizational and analytical skills as well as practical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
