Loc: Albany , NY Candidate’s qualifying experience for all Mandatory Requirements and the Associated Skill Set Specifications listed below must be clearly reflected on the resume. Multiple engagements may be used for qualifying experience. *MANDATORY EXPERIENCE* * * CANDIDATES NOT MEETING ALL OF THE MANDATORY EXPERIENTIAL REQUIREMENTS BELOW WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION 1. Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years experience developing large scale application systems in a multi-tiered environment, at least 4 of which must be in a JAVA/JEE environment. 2. Candidate must have at least 4 years experience developing and deploying large scale applications in a multi-tiered environment using an Object Oriented Architecture. 3. Candidate must have skill and experience in enterprise use of Rational Application Developer/Rational Software Architecture for modeling and developing JEE applications. 4. Candidate must have experience in distributed technology with recent emphasis on EJB, Hibernate, XML, XSLT, and XSD. 5. Minimum 2 years working experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server. *ASSOCIATED SKILL SETS* * * Candidates must also have three (3) of the preferred skilled sets listed below. Accordingly, candidates not meeting the supporting experiential specifications below will not be considered for the position. 1. Familiar with Software Change, Configuration Management, and Build Processes in a complex environment of re-useable Java components. Experience in the use of Subversion as a change management tool in IBM Rational Application Developer or Eclipse. 2. Experience in developing technical design document. 3. Experience developing SQL queries in Oracle environment. 4. Experience developing and deploying applications in multi-tiered (3+ tiers) application environment at least one of which was within a Service Oriented Architecture. 5. Familiar with Full life cycle software development experience of large-scale enterprise applications (requirements, design, implementation, integration, testing). 6. Knowledge of UML Modeling tools such as Rational Software Architect, Rational Rose, etc, and experience with Use Cases, Sequence Diagrams and Class Diagrams. 7. Experience in IBM WebSphere Portal Server environment. 8. Experience in using Mavin, ANT, Sonar and Nexus. 9. Experience in using JAXB, Castor. *Initial Project Description:* (Assignments may be changed based on agency business priorities.)
