We’re looking for someone with 5-7 years Business Intelligence with Cognos (8.4), ETL, SSIS, DTS, BO and Reporting Tool are required. Details: Role: Senior BI Analyst Location: San Diego, CA Duration: FULL TIME Need someone with both Frontend and Backend experience The role often encompasses wearing many hats although it’s titled Sr. BI Analyst. It is a mix of analysis/ development/ customer service. If the candidate has worked on Cognos Financial will be an added plus. Anyone with Migration experience will be good, as the Client will be migrating from SQL 2000 to 2008. Need Good Communication Skills. Preferred skills, education, and experience: Bachelor’s degree required. 5+ years of related experience in Cognos, SQL Server or other databases, business analysis with demonstrated analytical, problem solving and partnership skills. Experience in Cognos Decision Stream/Data Manager, ReportNet, Powerplay, Analysis Studio, Planning and Contributor, SQL & ETL methodologies, SSIS/DTS. Skilled in database management and designing Star Schema’s. Proficient in creating Dashboards and Scorecards. Experience in applying BI SDLC methodology. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word. Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. Detail oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills to meet critical deadlines Has ability to perform/drive resolution of problems on areas within his/her accountability. Solid customer service skills and a consultative approach to dealing with internal customers.
