Title : Senior level .NET Software Engineer Location : OH. Duration : 6 months contract. Rate : $42/hr Corp to Corp* *Core Skills: 5 or more years of experience in: ASP.NET/ C# MS SQL Server 2005/2008 XML, XSLT, SOAP (Web services) JavaScript, HTML and Ajax .NET 2.0/3.x (WPF, WCF, WWF) Oracle (not mandatory)* Requirements: Strong in MS .Net platform and requires strong knowledge and understanding of related technologies Good modeling and software design experience to create enterprise-class web applications using proven design patterns on the latest technology platforms. Strong database programming (e.g. Triggers, stored procedures, optimizing SQL’s) Strong programming skills with hands on strengths in architecture and design of web applications Strong understanding of implementing secured web application against common threats resulting from design/coding flaws (e.g. injection attacks) Experience in version control (Visual Source Safe) Strong debugging & trouble shooting skills Keeps track of latest technological trends, suggest & implements solutions to leverage technological advancements Through understanding of SDLC life cycle. Good understanding of SAAS (deployment, scheduled maintenance, optimization, backups) Must work independently with minimal supervision Clearly communicating technical and functional requirements and processes to technical staff and/or business staff. Ability to understand, translate, and document all business and user requirements. Goals-oriented proactive team player with the demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced professional environment. Critical thinker with excellent problem solving skills that can make independent decisions within area of responsibility and expertise. Works well in and supports a distributed team environment and is adaptive to changes in methodologies and technologies. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related fields. Must be able to speak fluently and be proficient in writing in English, a creative thinker with great comprehensive skills. Experience functioning in a technical lead role. Exceptional, comprehensive technical proficiency in all the listed Core Skills. Significant experience and ability in client-facing activities at multiple levels from users/ tech staff to executive level business and IT management personnel. Extensive demonstrated experience in formal written communication (i.e. proposal writing, functional/ technical specs, etc).
