Title : SQL Server DBA. Location : Boston,MA. Duraition : 6+ months contract. This is a 6 month contract position but it has the potential to convert to a permanent position. An on-site interview will be required after a phone interview so the candidate must be willing to travel to the Boston area. *The C2C pay rate is around $45/hour.* Currently we are searching for a SQL Server DBA (Production) to fulfill an immediate vacancy. · 7 + yrs Core SQL Server Production DBA · Windows 2008 multi-node clustering. · Monitoring and tuning SQL Server performance with multiple tools including Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler, and Index Tuning · Setting up cluster, replication, log shipping, DR testing and planning, capacity planning. · Security setup: database, active directory and windows level. · Performance Tuning, Query Optimization · Connectivity and Database Consistency Checks using DBCC Utilities. · Excellent analytical and debugging skills Replication expertise is key to this role Health care experience: Soarian Financials and/or Clinicals a plus.
