The contract is for a minimum of three months. These are RTH to the customer. All resources must have excellent communication skills! Assignment Description: Responsible for Group Policy, DHCP and DNS/WINS Administration Support Domestic and International Business IT leads with all project related Directory Services requirements. Satisfy all AD related Work Orders and implement infrastructure changes following the customer Change Management process. Troubleshooting of AD related issues which include logon failures, account lockouts, network connectivity, DNS/WINS name resolution, authentication problems, and FRS/DFS replication issues Confirm DC health and security via available Window's support tools and other means and recommend and execute proactive AD solutions. Meet all compliance requirements. Collaborate with peers to ensure the AD infrastructure seamlessly integrates with all other components including network, security and messaging. Participate in the daily Change Management meeting and represent the team for all Directory Services related requirements. Participate in all DR and infrastructure redundancy testing. Primary Skills: Microsoft Directory Services Administrator - MSCE preferred Secondary skills: Microsoft Exchange Administrator Summary of work: Architect, build, deploy and support Microsoft Directory services (AD) solutions in the customer enterprise. Critical Deliverables: implementation of Microsoft infrastructure technologies and related platform solutions. The candidate will also be responsible for providing AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and AD account maintenance support, including complex problem solving on an enterprise level. Deliverables include: * Group Policy, DHCP and DNS/WINS Administration * User account maintenance and all other Change Management requests. * Domain Controller administration and upgrades including DR planning and execution. * Administer wireless/VPN infrastructure via Internet Authentication Service (IAS) * Troubleshooting of complex AD related issues which include logon failures, account lockouts, network connectivity, DNS/WINS name resolution, authentication problems, and FRS/DFS replication issues Additional Info: The candidate we are looking to fill the Infrastructure position must have at least 6 years of experience in managing Microsoft Directory (AD) solutions. We prefer the candidate to hold a high level of Microsoft certification and be proficient in Microsoft solutions. * Comprehensive design and architecture of all aspects of the enterprise Microsoft Directory Services infrastructure and solutions. * VB and PowerShell scripting a plus. * Working knowledge of DC's on Window's Server 2008 a plus. * Assist in the definition of Directory Services technical standards with considerations for throughput, redundancy and load balancing where applicable. * Ensure backups and recovery of Microsoft Infrastructure is in place and current. * Confirm DC health and security via DCDiag, Window's support tools and other means. * Ensure the customer Directory Services Infrastructure is following Microsoft Best Practices. * Ensure AD replication is functional and optimal. * Ensure general operational excellence within the AD infrastructure. * Excellent communication (verbal/written) skills a plus. * Able to collaborate effectively with peers. * Recommend proactive AD solutions to developers/technicians and management on AD technical issues. * Ability to foster climate of continuous improvement for all Microsoft Directory Services solutions. * BlueCat DNS skills a plus.
