Oracle WCI/BEA ALUI/PlumTree developer. We are looking to fill this position
ASAP.
The following is the Job Description/Requirements. Can you please let us
know if you have any folks who might fit this role?
Job Description:
· Design, Develop, implement new features in Oracle Web Center
Interaction WCI (ALUI 6.5 MP1) / BEA AquaLogic Interaction ALUI, Plumtree.
· Development in Java, J2EE or .NET as per the requirements for
prototype.
· Create technical design, documents and specifications.
· Create prototypes to evaluate requirements / design in ALUI 6.5 MP
1. This requires extensive customization to ALUI Portal including using UICI
customization (changing the source code of Portal).
· Design and develop Portlets that support complex Personalization
based on user’s interests.
· Develop Portlets that use Portal APIs extensively.
· Develop new adaptive layouts.
· Integrate third party plug-ins.
· Database design development as needed.
· Use HTML, DHTML, CSS and JavaScript libraries like Dojo, YUI or
JQuery to quickly build nice look and feel components.
· Develop web services to interact with SharePoint, ALUI Analytics.
· Research for the solutions how to implement the requirements in
ALUI Portal.
Qualifications:
· 5-7 years of hands-on experience using Oracle Web Center
Interaction and BEA AquaLogic Interaction 6.5 MP 1 (Historical knowledge of
PlumTree is a plus).
· 7-10 years of overall software development experience with at
least 3 years of design, development and deployment of Java applications.
· Strong experience in Personalization based on user profile.
· Solid hands on experience with Java and advanced JavaScript
(ability to develop nice and complicated look n feel – drag and drop like
iGoogle). Experience on .NET is a plus.
· Proven experience in design & development of custom Portlets,
communities, pages, content and/or web services that will integrate with the
portal.
· Thorough understanding of the AquaLogic User Interaction product
including adaptive layouts, UICI customization.
· SQL experience is a plus.
· Hands-on experience with the creation of HTML, DHTML, Advanced
Java Script.
· Must be comfortable quickly learning technologies to achieve
business solutions.
· Candidates must be self-starter, willing to adapt to a changing
environment and open to learning new technologies and techniques. Must
possess excellent interpersonal skills, strong communication skills (written
and verbal), be team-oriented, technically motivated and creative, and user
oriented with a desire to learn the Company’s business and portal
environment.
· Candidates is able to research on their own and develop prototypes
using ALUI 6.5 MP 1 with a quick turnaround time.
· Candidate is a technical guru in AquaLogic User Interaction.
Duration: ASAP - End of July 2011.
Price Range: $55-60/hr
