One year contract in Frisco, TX
Rate - $45/hr
Strong SQL Server experience
Production support and development environments
Assist with Data Marts for CRM, Order Management and
eCommerce
There may be some architecture needed
Adhering to policies and procedures.
The position is an all-encompassing SQL role.
Breakdown of duties:
1. Database
Functionality
Performance
Log files
Sizing
2. Work with the Report Analyst
Create views, schemas, analyze and optimize queries, performance, indexes,
ques…
3. Database development/architecture
Assist with architecting the data bus for the master data management
policies and data governance.
Required experience:
SQL Server or Oracle (feels an Oracle person can transition easily into SQL
Server)
Exposure to reporting tools similar to Microstrategy (which is what they
use) or Business Objects
Nice to haves:
SSAS
Exposure to ETL
Understanding of how network protocols affect the client tools
VMWare
