*Position Description:* ****
- This role is a business analyst supporting Business Intelligence in the
finance subject area. The role is highly analytical and requires the
demonstrated ability to research, question and review facts to make accurate
decisions in both collaborative and autonomous situations. ****
ยท Candidates will have experience in finance and controlling from
both a systems and business perspective. This role will interact with
various levels of the organization and is required to present and mentor,
one on one as well as to broad audiences. Also, this role will require
mentoring and coaching to other team members. ****

*Required Skills:* ****
- 5+ years of performing financial activities in a retail environment.
Examples include journal entry preparation/review, month end, quarterly and
year end closing, financial reporting, financial statement analysis, and
budgeting / planning. Or the equivalent business intelligence experience
supporting financial teams in these activities. ****
- Experience in designing financial statements as well as the master data
structures supporting such statements (e.g., profit and cost center
hierarchies). Also, experience with financial data conversion and the
mapping / conversion of old to new chart of accounts. ****
- Experience in gathering and writing business requirements, system
requirements, developing functional designs, and articulating business
process to drive technology solutions. ****
- Experience in creating use and test cases, to execute or support
functional integration testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing
and data validation. ****
- Demonstrated ability to analyze technically and functionally, incidents
reported by the customer, and drive the incident to resolution. ****
- Demonstrated excellence in communication, including but not limited to:
Interpersonal oral and written skills, presentation, negotiation and
listening skills. ****
- Demonstrated abilities in facilitation, coaching, training, and
mentoring. ****
- Understanding of project management methodologies or demonstrated
autonomy in executing an end to end solution with the ability to lead
others. ****
- Must be a highly motivated individual who enjoys working on complex
projects with various people and skillsets. ****

- Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite of Tools including Access
(Sharepoint, Project and Visio are a plus) ****
- Understanding of Dimensional and/or Relational Databases ****
- 3 or more of the following skills: ****

- Cognos ****
- SAS (v9.X) ****
- SAP BW (v3.5 and above) including Bex and Web Based Reporting, and
