Bachelor’s Degree in: Computer Science, Management Information Systems (or a
related field)



*Primary activities for position*

·         Develop, test, enhance, and maintain Progress source code as it
relates to corporate needs.

·         Create and update user and technical documentation related to
project changes using Wiki projects.

·         Develop and maintain detailed conceptual designs that meet new
system requirements and adequately support business processes.

·         Maintain source code in Subversion repository in accordance with
the change management standards.

·         Continually look for ways to enhance progress code, and
functionality in MFG/Pro, Intranet, and Lean Systems.

·         Assess current business and information systems, identify and
resolve gaps, and implement requirements for necessary work items.

·         Monitor and Administer Progress Databases.

·         Provide end-user support in relation to MFG/Pro and business
systems.

·         Be on call, periodically, for support of MFG/Pro and business
systems.

·         Interface with the P&C user community to determine requirements
and develop specifications for various updates (data collections, web
design, etc.) to business system.

·         Configure business systems software as needed in accordance to the
change management policy.

·         Develop, maintain, and document internal knowledgebase of business
systems.

·         Perform any additional duties needed to support the department.

·         Consistently exhibit appropriate attendance habits, working the
hours necessary to perform the job.

·         Organize and maintain efficiency of personal work area.

·         Provide necessary, accurate, and timely feedback of all pertinent
information to co-workers and management.

·         Effectively communicate with co-workers and management personnel
to enhance teamwork and communication initiatives.

·         Consistently adhere to, and support, company policies and
procedures, including ISO, TS16949, and safety regulations.

·         Give and accept instructions and duties in a positive manner.

·         Treat all co-workers with dignity and respect.

·         Assist in maintaining P&C values (Integrity, People, Customer,
Leadership, We can if…, Do what it takes…Safely) daily, through thoughts and
actions.
