Job Tittle : *Java Developer* Location : AUSTIN, TX Duration: 9 months Contract - *possible extension * RATE: DOE *REQUIRED SKILLS * Seven to ten years of Java development experience for proprietary technologies in a fast-paced environment *Preferred experience with Tomcat, JMX, rule engine, and SOA * *Experience integrating with databases (preferably PostgreSQL/Oracle) and middle-tier application server architecture * *Experience with C# .Net is a plus * Excellent object oriented software systems design skills and architectural skills Flexibility and willingness to pitch in where needed. This may mean on occasion helping with other functions (e.g. QA, Operations) Working knowledge of current software security technologies (encryption, authentication, etc.), and their incorporation into software systems Prefer experience in email/message processing and high-transaction processing environment. Excellent verbal and written communications skills and an interest in working in a collaborative team environment.
