Sr Java J2ee Developer Location: Fremont CA Duration: 6 months to 1 year Key Skills: Java,J2ee, Application servers side, Web 2.0 technologies. Responsibilities: You will be a key member of a distributed team responsible for the development and integration of an industry leading network management system implemented using the latest J2EE and Web 2.0 technologies and platforms, managing both Client and 3rd party devices and applications - including GUI, Web, Web Services, SNMP, TR-069, command line interfaces etc. Some domestic and overseas travels will be required. The position will challenge you to: * Help recruiting and growing a software development team to design and implement large-scale enterprise software applications for managing Telecommunications and Data-communications products and devices in the access space; * Create innovative and compelling solutions to meet functional, usability, quality and schedule milestones * Leverage the strengths of a highly talented, diversified, and distributed team while maintaining a focus on consistency of execution. * Provide technical leadership in the evaluation, and implementation of development and partnership initiatives. * Work through all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with product marketing, engineering, and testing teams and help to build a culture of flawless execution and success * Write and/or maintain software functional/requirement specifications, design and integration documents, development schedules etc * Innovate and pioneer through the latest Object-Oriented methodologies, Java, J2EE, XML technologies, DBMSs etc * Help to finetune the existing development processes and maximize productivity * Troubleshoot and fix issues arising from external customers and internal crossfunctional teams Qualifications: The ideal candidate must possess the following: * BS in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent. * 8+ years of technical lead responsibility and engineering development experience in a fast paced, multi-cultured, high-growth organization, and highly collaborative environment. * Demonstrated leadership in growing a development organization and building and leading a team to consistent, on-time, high-quality product deliverables * Extensive knowledge and experience in Element/Network Management and management interfaces including user interfaces, access services provisioning models, trouble shooting and SLAs * Excellent analytical and integration skills * 5+ years J2EE technologies and Application servers including JSP, Servlets, JMS, XML, JDBC, Javascript, AJAX, SOAP, SOA etc. * 8+ years experience of Strong Object-Oriented Design and Methodologies * Proficient in Client/Server programming in a multi-thread/multi-process environment * Outstanding communication and multitasking skills * Hands-on experience with AppServers: JBoss/WebLogic/WebSphere Nice to have Technical Skills: * Solid understanding of database design, Object-Relational mapping and deployment * Experience with clouding computing * Solid understanding of performance and scalability * Experience in redundancy, high availability and clustering * In-depth understanding/experience with Design Patterns * Experience with various security protocols/architecture (SSL, PKI, JAAS and etc) * In-depth knowledge and background in User Interface Design (SWING) * TL1, SNMP, Netconf, etc. Thanks and Regards, *Kusha* Valiantica, Inc.
