If you are interested please respond with your updated resume, availability and contact details *Position: SQL Server Developer * *Location: Richardson, TX * *Duration: 6 Months* *Must Have:** SQL Server Developer with strong T-SQL/SSIS* *Job Description* · Manage the extraction, transformation, and population of data files and databases using MS SQL Server DTS/SSIS, Excel, and other Microsoft technologies. · Support current SQL/VB.Net/Excel/Crystal reporting solutions. · Creation and maintenance of reports using Microsoft technologies and or Jasper Reports. · Participate in training and customer support processes. · Determine and document analytic techniques, methods, and tools. · Support various ad hoc analysis and reporting initiatives. · Demonstrate professional behavior and teamwork, punctuality, dependability and adherence to company policies and procedures. · Act as a positive role model and customer focused professional delivering effective business solutions *Skills Required:* · Bachelors Degree in Business, Computer Science or related field. · 3-5 years experience as a Data Analyst with experience in Data Warehouse architecture and analysis, data integration (ETL), as well as conceptual, logical, and physical data design. · Strong working knowledge of ETL design and implementation with MS SQL DTS/Integration Services. · Advanced T-SQL skills and experience using SQL Server 2000 & 2005. · Strong working knowledge of data warehousing methodologies, architectures, and best practices. · Experience with Jasper Reports a plus. · Working knowledge of VB.Net a plus. · Experience with Call and Service Center reporting a plus. · Solid understanding of web technologies and multi-tier applications. · Advanced analytical, mathematical, and creative problem solving skills. · Ability to develop standards, processes, and procedures. · Business acumen, excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills required. · Ability to work with the business community in an analyst-to-solution role. · Ability to work well in both team and independent environments, gather information from business end-users, and conduct and lead meetings.
