Strong knowledge and experience in all the phases of SDLC. Strong knowledge and experience in white box (Unit) testing. Ability to communicate at both business and technical levels with the stakeholders and developers involved. Experience in Web development, Object oriented programming and databases. Prior programming experience in C# and ASP.Net building web applications preferred. Good experience using Automation tools like Selenium and Watin. Proficiency in creating test strategy, test plan and test cases for complex domain models such as workflow oriented, data migration and web-based applications. Experience building automated test frameworks based on manual test scripts. Experience working in a Agile environment preferred. Must possess sharp analytical and excellent communication skills Education and Training: • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or other related discipline • An advanced degree in communications, computer science, or related discipline may be substituted for two years of experience Functional Roles/Responsibility Work with Business Analysts, Software Development and Mock-up teams on a day to day basis to perform requirement, technical and functional impact analysis. Identify testable requirements and prepare test strategy for each of the testing types identified. The candidate should also have extensive experience in designing the architecture and managing future enhancements for an enterprise wide web based solution in the federal arena. Further, the candidate should have proven track record of proposing system innovations and advancement in order to keep up with the new technology. *Functional Responsibilities*: - Coordinate with Project Leads across multiple project in order to gather requirements for new development and enhancement to the service tier components encompassing the HRSA EHBs platform. - Develop the road map for new development or enhancement based on functional and user interface requirements across multiple project. - Propose innovative design or alternative solutions to meet the technical requirements while ensuring that the solution remain flexible and extensible. - Prepare and maintain architectural diagram and supporting documentation. - Design and maintain data model for the solution and assist in populating the data dictionary. - Provide oversight on the development and maintenance activities across the complete Software Development Life Cycle. - Conduct code review to ensure the appropriate coding convention is followed and the code is optimized for performance. - Supports developers in designing business layer component from technical perspective. - Comply with CMMI level 3 and project level processes to improve efficiency and consistency of all deliverables. - Contribute in the development knowledge base. - Participate and contribute in process improvement activities at the project and corporate level. - Mentor and train software Engineers on best practices. - Assist in recruitment, mentoring team members and other back office functions Minimum/General Experience: Extensive Knowledge and experience of designing Microsoft based architecture. Proficiency with SQL Server, classic Microsoft and .Net technology. MCSD Certification preferred. - 5+ years C# experience. - 8+ years experience in the complete software development lifecycle and object oriented development environment. - 6+ years experience with SQL Server or any other RDBMS. - 8+ years of enterprise web development experience. - 4+ years experience in source control, unit testing, code verification, documentation, automated build, continuous integration, metrics, and code reviews. - 4+ years experience in user interface development. - 4+ years experience in the federal government contract. Education and Training: Minimum Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, physics, engineering, math or related field is required. An advanced degree in computer science, or related discipline may be substituted for two years of experience.
