In depth background in designing and building distributed client-server applications. 3-5 years experience in real-time, back-end programming in *C++ or Java, preferably building financial services, market data or ticker plant processing systems.* 2-4 years experience with object-oriented development and class design. 2-4 years programming experience in UNIX environment. 2-4 years experience in relational database design and *SQL programming, preferably with Sybase ASE. 2-4 years experience modeling designs with UML and using Sybase PowerDesigner or similar case tools. Experience developing software to support market index calculations and familiarity with index calculation methodology a huge plus. Economics and financial markets background a plus.*
