The Analyst governs information risk assessment and assists with data protection initiatives while building a culture focused on the pro-active awareness of the information risk environment. *Essential Functions**:* · Develop and maintain a systemic, analytical information risk management program · Ensure that information risk identification, analysis and mitigation activities are integrated into system lifecycle processes · Provide templates and guidance enabling the business and IT to self-assess information risk and develop information security requirements for all IT projects · Perform information risk assessments for: § *Major IT projects and assist in developing information security requirements* § Major existing IT systems and assist system owners/custodians in developing remediation plans § Potential and existing 3rd party business partners engagements · Provide templates and guidance to enable System Owners and System Custodians to develop system security plans for all systems · Compile and present regular Information Risk Profiles for JetBlue Airways · Define strategies and prioritize options to mitigate information risks to acceptable levels · Report significant changes in information risks to appropriate levels of management on an event-driven basis *II. **Minimum Qualifications**:* · Bachelor of Arts Degree · *Security related certification (e.g. CISM, CISSP) preferred * · *Six (6) years Information Security experience* · *Three (3) years Information Risk Management experience* · Extensive experience with *risk management techniques*, *risk taxonomies and pragmatic risk forecasting* · *Knowledge of ISO 17799*; *NIST SP 800:30* and other *leading security standards* · Regular attendance and punctuality · Organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Fun and Passion · Well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance · *Pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test* · Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located · When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable Crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft *III. **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:* · Understanding of *core security principles* · Excellent understating of *information security risk analysis* · Ability to identify the true business drivers of risk and align security strategies with those drivers · Excellent communication skills including the ability to translate analytical data into compelling presentations for business leadership · *Security vulnerabilities/weaknesses - fundamental causes of vulnerabilities through which most attacks are exploited.
