Job Description: One of my clients in Boston is looking for a Systems Analyst with strong SQL experience for a 6+ month project. This role involves the active investigation of system issues related to the suite of applications and functions that are owned by the Legal and Compliance Systems Team. The analyst is expected to resolve an issue within the SLA or be able to escalate the issue to the appropriate teams for resolution. Aside from issue related work, the analyst is also expected to fulfill requests or provide solutions that aid in the workflow of the business and their team members (such as creating a custom report and automating the running of said report). It is expected that the applicant be proficient in SQL as well as be comfortable reading through code. It is required that the applicant have strong communication skills, an aptitude for working under pressure, and the ability to function in a team environment. This candidate must be able to work 6am - 4pm shift or the 9am to 7:30 shift (the coverage may change from 6 - 4 or 9 - 7:30 so we need candidates that are flexible to do both) The following are a list of typical tasks: Experience supporting Sentinel, preferred Strong Systems analysis and support experience Coding and executing SQL scripts Reading System and event Log Files Searching through application code to find source of issues Handling application and schedule failures Coordinating resources needed for issue resolution Warm Regards, Jack Dorsan .
