*Systems Integration Consultant*
*JAVA/ETL Developer*
*Location: Westlake, TX **
Business Objects: Java
Skills: Expert (5+ Years Experience) *
*Qualifications:**
*A successful candidate will possess strong Systems Integrations skills
utilizing an array of products which could include ETL (DataStage,
Informatica), Messaging (MQ), RDBS (DB2, Oracle, Sybase), Java, WebSphere,
Scheduling (Control-M)
*Representative Duties:** *
- Working closely with the various global client Systems groups to
creates/implements strategic application system solutions to support the
ever changing business needs.
- Works under minimal direction, either individually or in small teams,
to integrate internally developed or vendor applications within the current
systems environment and applications
- Design, document, script, test and implement internally developed or
vendor applications
- Performs technical lead role across multiple projects simultaneously
providing independent and complex technical and functional analysis for
multiple projects supporting several initiatives
- Participates in design reviews and unit testing
- Work with the systems analysts to define requirements
- Work with distributed and mainframe teams to coordinate file delivery,
data mapping and access
- Follows client Systems Development Methodology Lifecycle ensuring on
time project delivery with the highest possible quality
- Participate in level 3 on-call rotation to support critical
applications
- Qualified applicant should have 4+ years of programming experience in
a complex, multi platform environment
- Provides application support for appropriate platform
*Skills and Knowledge:*
- Overall 10+ technical Experience
- Java, Websphere, and C++ experience required
- ETL tool experience required, Informatica preferred
- Database experience required
- Financial systems background including industry standards
- Unix operating system experience required.
- Experience with formal change management using Subversion or PVCS
within an ITIL framework required.
- Flexibility and a genuine desire to learn
- Strong problem solver with excellent team/partnering skills
- Solid communication (written, oral) skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with SharePoint, EDMS, Jira, Wiki and other collaboration
tools
- Working knowledge of file transfer protocols, Java, Scripting,
Control-M, UNIX, MS SQL, Oracle,
Reporting (JasperSoft or Reports ) and multiple operating systems.
