ROLE DESCRIPTION/SCOPE OF WORK:
Purpose of role :
The senior functional SAP consultant role for deployment will be required
to validate business requirements against a core design, define business
process models for implementing the core design; provide input into
definition of additional design items not covered under the core design.
Deploy the Rio Tinto Business Solution into a given business unit(s). This
role is specific to the Rio Tinto functional area of Manage Mining and
Processing (MMP) - related to SAP PP and QM core modules.
Key Consultant Criteria:
The position is for an experienced PP and QM consultant. Preferably more
than 5 years and 3 full project implementations with the ability to
demonstrate in-depth knowledge in all aspects of a SAP implementation.
Understanding and applying a full project lifecycle and methodology
starting with Blueprint, Realisation, Final Preparation and Go Live.
Understanding of the key activities and deliverables for phases including
Business Process Design, Technical Specifications, Unit Testing,
Integration Testing, Site Testing, Configuration Migration in order to
achieve successful Production Cutover and Business Handover.

effective stakeholder management capabilities.
