Work as part of a team in support of operational and project related activities. Provide technical and operational support to other departments and teams as required in support of business objectives. Display strong inter-personal and communication skills. Be self-motivated and able to meet objectives with little or no direct supervision. Provide 24 x 7 on call support as part of a scheduled rotation with other team members. Provide troubleshooting for applications and systems. Provide technical support for Unix related project activities. 4-6 years experience in an HP-UX and/or SunSolaris Unix environment. Proven competency with most UNIX commands/utilities. Knowledge of or experience with C programs. System installation and configuration experience. Experience using various monitoring tools such as Glance, Perfview, Top and ITO. Shell scripting and programming (KSH, TCL/Tk, PERL, AWK). Familiarity with HP and Sun hardware. Familiarity with SAN, NAS and other storage technologies. Familiarity with EMC and/or HP disk arrays and attendant software such as BCV and SRDF. Skills: Experience with any of these, NSN NetAct OSS, NSN Traffica, or Splunk System Administration is required. Experience on Operations Support environment (Technical support, on-call and Trouble Ticket handling) is required. Expert-level understanding of Operations and Maintenance procedures and Advanced Troubleshooting techniques across multiple platforms. Strong understanding of system protocols and interfaces that are used within a wireless network. Ability to multitask and effectively handle multiple competing priorities. Strong understanding of GSM Network Signaling standards and protocols such as ISUP, MAP, BSSMAP/DTAP, SMS, TCP/IP required. Solid understanding of GSM/UTRAN network architecture and understands 3GPP specifications. Solid hands-on experience of GSM/UTRAN/IP Devices/Core Network Node and integration to the OSS Systems. Excellent analytical and technical troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of SQL database structures, SQL database query writing, Unix shell scripting, Pearl, C++, Java scripts, and data manipulation. Knowledge of different standard interfaces (i.e. CORBA, LDAP, XML). Strong Unix/Linux/Oracle/Storage systems knowledge and adept on the related disciplines. CCNP/CCNA Certified and experience on OSS Administration (NSN, JDSU EMS, ALU SAM) is a plus.
