*Job Description:*
Responsible for the proactive and reactive fault management of the U-verse
network and support applications for AT&T’s corporate initiative to deliver
IPTV to our customers. This individual will work in a 24x7 environment and
must be an expert on the platform they maintain and operate. They will lead
technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, work around identification,
testing and implementation of fixes and change management activity. They
will oversee any work performed on the platform and work closely with
engineering, ATS, and vendors for any upgrades or enhancements. Data
Platforms/elements supported include, but not limited to: Microsoft
Mediaroom, Microsoft SCOM, Microsoft SCCM, Microsoft Server, SQL Server,
SMS, IIS, Active Directory, .net framework, XML, SOAP, Terminal Server,
Oracle DB, Red Hat Linux and Apache Tomcat. Individual will also need to
lead and assist with various projects technical in nature that address
architectural gaps, product evolution, planning initiatives and
coordination between internal and external groups including vendors. In
addition to the responsibilities above, individual will provide technical
coaching/mentoring as needed. ****
