Please go through the Job Description and send me your updated resume with contact information. *Please reply at soh...@panzersolutions.com* *Position : Windows Administrator* *Location : San Antonio, Texas* *Duration : 6 months Contract* *LOCALS ARE HIGHLY PREFERRED* We are seeking an intermediate-level Windows Server Administrator for a contract opportunity. *RESPONSIBILITIES:* · Provide technical support to include configuring hardware, performing hardware/software installations, troubleshooting hardware issues, correcting system software problems, and managing the server environment. · Perform as a member of quick-response user-support team and work under deadlines, frequently operating independently, to resolve technical problems. · Exhibit and apply strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. · Consult with hardware, communications and database experts or vendors to ensure viability of systems. · Ensure that systems documentation is updated according to defined standards. · Perform the installation and support of Windows servers including Windows 2003 and Windows 2008. · Verify and perform standard health checks on Active Directory and Windows servers. · Perform tape backup duties including the restoration of files and directories as requested. *REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:* · Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a related field. · Minimum of 5 years of related technical support experience. · Experience in installation and support of Windows servers including Windows 2003, Windows 2008R2, and 2008R2 HyperV. · Understanding of networking to include subnets, firewalls, and WAN links in a managed, enterprise environment. · Experience with server software installation and configuration in an Active Directory environment. *PREFERRED SKILLS:* · Experience supporting and troubleshooting MSSQL databases. · Experience supporting and troubleshooting SharePoint 2010. · Working knowledge of the NetWare 5.1 and NetWare 6.5 Operating Systems including NDS · Working knowledge of ARCServe backup software and tape library systems.
