We are looking ".Net Developer" for our client in Houston, TX. Job Description: Developer will be working with a team of mid to senior level developers on new application development as well as enhancing and supporting existing in-house developed applications. The role will involve working with the Business Analysts and end users to help identify requirements. Developer is also responsible for analyzing requirements and to architect, design and present solutions to the business problems. Developer should be creative in their approach to designing the user interface, with emphasis on simplicity and enhancing the overall user experience. Individual should be flexible and able to adapt to a dynamic environment. Individual should be a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision. Required Experience: Developer must have 5-10 years of experience in Information Systems Minimum of 5 years of experience with .NET Framework, including the full development lifecycle Developer must be proficient in .NET 3.5, 4.0, C#, WPF/XAML, Windows Forms, Web Services and WCF,and MVVM Strong experience in User Interface design Must have experience in data modeling Bachelor's degree is required. Preferred Skills: Oracle and PL/SQL experience Microsoft Blend and PRISM experience Microsoft Team Foundation Server experience Experience setting up and configuring Microsoft IIS server Experience developing with .NET Design Patterns Extensive understanding of Silverlight Java Swing / Java Server Pages experience Oil and Gas experience This is a 6 Months contract in Houston, TX.
