Responsibilities: Responsible for the overall strategic SAP Financial and Strategy and Planning core components application architecture (Functional & design focus). As FICO Functional Consultant you will be assigned to IT Initiatives and will be asked to review business requirements and interpret these into an architectural design. You will be required to participate in blueprint and design sessions, review options and provide recommendations while communicating benefits, risks, and constraints to both the business and the various IT stakeholders. A key focus area will be the functional integration points between Finance, Strategy and planning processes, SAP core components, SAP technology components (e.g. Portal) and other non SAP technology sets. You will work closely with other Functional Consultants, Enterprise Architects, Technical Architects, Information Architects and Security Architects as part of the Functional Consultant Team. in ensuring that a robust application framework and roadmap is achieved for the SAP footprint in the organization. The Functional Consultant should be SAP certified and have many project implementations experience (including full lifecycle) in the FICO area. Specific experience working on a global solution and global template is expected. The global template solution for has customization to support the specific needs of the business so experience working with custom SAP solutions (user interface and other) would be a positive. The candidate should have experience implementing SAP for a professional services organization. The candidate should have previous project management experience. On projects, working with Senior Business Analysts, application owners, functional and geographic business teams and IT organizations: • Strong knowledge in AP, new GL, Bank Accounting and local interfaces for bank accounting (e.g. lock box) and AR • Strong knowledge in COPA • Strong knowledge in FI and SD integration Qualifications: • Graduate degree from an accredited college/university • 10+ years IT experience designing enterprise systems with an emphasis on globally available applications with minimum 8 to 10 + years of experience in SAP FICO functional design roles (at least ECC 6). Expertise working on projects across other SAP systems and components (e.g. across ECC, CRM and BW). BW experience preferable but not required. • Subject Matter Expert on SAP landscapes and related architecture. • Proven track record in designing and delivering complex SAP FICO enterprise solutions for global organizations. • Strong knowledge of multi system landscape architecture and integration aspects between heterogeneous system technologies • Strong ability to interact with all levels of the organization (from junior staff to senior executives).
